Our local neighborhood watch group was in its infancy, and our first big project was planning for the annual National Night Out street party in August 2018. Unfortunately, time was super short and funds were even shorter. Our planning committee knew we needed to solicit some donations, so we wrote a letter and put out our feelers - not expecting much from anyone. Imagine our surprise to get an immediate response! The owners called and asked "What do you need? We'd love to help!" Then they came through when others did not. Though I haven't actually purchased any of their products, if I end up needing auto parts, I'll check with them first. I love doing business with companies that care about their community.
