San Ramon Valley High School graduate and Bay Area native Julie Krause, attended the California Cullinary Academy in San Francisco, and immediately went to work in a small local bakery specializing in wedding and custom cakes. After 9 years of perfecting her skills, she returns to Danville to fulfill her life long dream of owning her own Bakery. Julie's stepmother Susan Hart, was diagnosed with Celiac disease in 2013 and was forced to immediately change to an all gluten free diet. The idea of INC 82 came to us one day while trying to figure out where to go to eat in our local area. Realizing that the choices in Dublin are pretty scarce when it came to non-chain restaurants, we decided to create our own, because that's what all people do, right? We started working with an executive chef to produce a mouth-watering menu and a brewmaster to brew the greatest beers. Mmmmmm beeeeeeer........ Darcie’s great, great grandfather, Fritz R. Ruegsegger, came to America with his family from Switzerland in 1875 to pursue a career in winemaking. In 1883, Fritz’s son and Darcie’s great grandfather, Christian Ruegsegger started his own winery, the Alpine Winery, in St. Joseph, Missouri, which held bond #62 in the United States. Along with managing the vineyards and all winemaking tasks, Christian hand painted his own wine labels. The Alpine Winery bottled its last wine in 1945, when hard times following the repeal of Prohibition forced the family to shut down operations.
