Fenestra Winery was established by the Replogle family on the historic Ruby Hill property in Pleasanton in 1976 and in 1980 occupied the century-old George True Winery building on Vallecitos Road in Livermore. The old building had been badly neglected, and the Replogles hauled away tons of trash, and installed a new roof and strengthened the building. San Ramon Valley High School graduate and Bay Area native Julie Krause, attended the California Cullinary Academy in San Francisco, and immediately went to work in a small local bakery specializing in wedding and custom cakes. After 9 years of perfecting her skills, she returns to Danville to fulfill her life long dream of owning her own Bakery. Julie's stepmother Susan Hart, was diagnosed with Celiac disease in 2013 and was forced to immediately change to an all gluten free diet. Both Julie and Kevin (Susan's husband) watched Susan struggle with being able to eat out while protecting her health. It became apparent there is a lack of options for people who either want or need to eat gluten free. Dr. David Nisenboym graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior and a minor in Russian language. He then attained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from San Francisco’s University of the Pacific Dental School in 2013. After completing dental school, he completed a dental residency with the Pascua Yaqui tribe of Arizona. While serving the dental needs of the tribe, he gained valuable clinical experience in many procedures including implant placement, IV conscious sedation, root canals, crowns, fillings, and dentures. Following his residency, Dr. Nisenboym returned to his alma mater for two years as a pre-clinical instructor. Dr. Nisenboym also holds an IV Conscious Sedation permit that enables him to administer IV sedation at his practice.
