Panache Enfants, literally translated, means sons and daughters with a flamboyant and confident style or manner. Our aim is just that. We want to partner with parents to create confident, strong children who can take on the world of elementary education by storm. Our goal is to lay the foundation for healthy minds and bodies. We believe in an enriched program, which prides itself on creating a balance of academia, fitness and arts. At Panache Enfants, your child(ren) will be immersed in math, language, science and arts as well as have multiple opportunities to delve into cooking, dance, drama, gymnastics, yoga and sports. Our program does not believe in teaching one subject at one time, but rather including all of our core values into every aspect of the day. An example of this may be at lunch when children will be encouraged to discuss the color, shape, feel and smells of the foods they see. The entire day is a learning opportunity for children. Traditional instructor led lessons will be paired with discovery based learning on a daily basis. Along side these methods, children will have another opportunity to learn through exciting, Promethean interactive wipe board lessons. The aim is to provide a cohesive variety of teaching methods to enable students with different learning styles the opportunity to grasp core concepts. Panache Academie is an after school program, associated with Panache Enfants. Our curriculum balances traditional academia with cutting-edge tech learning that caters to students’ passions, with classes taught by professional scientists, engineers, artists and designers. We include Language Arts, Math, Public Speaking, Science, Engineering, Art (digital and studio) in our daily and weekly lessons: students will rotate between Scientixium lab, Artixeda Minor studio, Texniol Enginuitix lab and other extra-curriculars to include every subject every week. In the 1940s, Evelyn Overton found a recipe in her local Detroit newspaper that inspired her “Original” cheesecake. Everyone loved her recipe so much she decided to open a small bakery, but eventually gave it up to focus on raising her children, David and Renee. She moved her baking equipment to her basement kitchen and continued to sell cakes to some of the best restaurants in town. In 1972, Evelyn and her husband Oscar moved to Los Angeles to try one last time to have their own business. With the last of their savings, they opened The Cheesecake Factory Bakery and began selling Evelyn’s cheesecakes to restaurants throughout L.A. Their son David decided to open a restaurant in Beverly Hills in 1978 to showcase his mother’s cakes. Somehow, he just knew that a restaurant with an extensive dessert menu would be a hit. Home Consignment Center remains a two family owned and run business. In the spring of 1994 Christine and Johnny Crowell were considering opening a furniture store patterned on Johnny’s successful antique auto consignment business. Jamece and John Fondnazio joined them forming a partnership that has lasted for twenty plus years. The partners had a business plan that promoted high quality furniture and accessories priced to sell from the outset. The partners rejected the traditional consignment approach of initial overpricing coupled with automatic markdowns. Home Consignment Center was built on the concept of great stuff at great prices, and it’s a fun place to shop. That first year was exciting, if exhausting. The partners worked every day and without employees. This allowed them to learn every aspect of the business, first hand. When the first employees were hired HCC initiated its policy of no commission salespeople.
