Located on 14th Avenue, nestled between Cabrillo St. and Balboa St., in the heart of the Richmond District and just a few blocks from San Francisco’s iconic Golden Gate Park, this Stratford campus is convenient to reach from 19th Avenue and city neighborhoods that run along the Park Presidio and Balboa Street.
Our 14th Avenue campus offers an innovative and intentionally balanced STEAM-based curriculum for students in Preschool through Grade 5. The thoughtfully designed learning spaces include a STEAM lab, library, music room, urban outdoor playgrounds for elementary and preschool students, indoor gym, and two floors with bright, cheerful classrooms. And a spacious multi-purpose room with a well-equipped stage is ideal for student performances and special events.
Unique to this Stratford School campus is its Mandarin Bilingual program. Stratford’s Mandarin Bilingual Preschool through Elementary programs are immersive, five-day-per-week programs designed to promote consistency and continuity in learning a second language. Students enrolled in the Mandarin Bilingual program will build upon foundational knowledge, skills, and concepts in our core STEAM curriculum. As well as gain a cultural experience and understanding in a fun, enriching learning environment. Stratford’s robust Preschool and Elementary curriculum is taught by teachers speaking and instructing in both Mandarin and English.

Cellar 13 Winery focuses on making high quality, award winning wines using fruit from only the best Vineyards. Darin Winton, the Winemaker, is one of the few Native American Winemakers in the United States. To honor his Cherokee Heritage, Cellar 13 Winery has proudly used the Cherokee language for their 2 Bordeaux style blends - the Right Bank Bordeaux style blend is named “Aliheliga” (“Grateful” in Cherokee) and the Left Bank Bordeaux style blend is named “Tsogadu" (13 in Cherokee). Art work featured on the back of these two labels are original works from Darin’s Uncle, Cherokee Artist, John Balloue.
Having had a successful career in Water Services, Darin retired in 2017 and was immediately hired as the Assistant Wine Maker at 3 Steves Winery in Livermore, CA. Given the chance to learn about wine making from start to finish at 3 Steves, Darin was later afforded the opportunity to make wine under his own label. While Darin does the Winemaking, Gail Henderson runs the operations and marketing side of Cellar 13 Winery. Together, they have created a Winery that embodies the best of their passions and talents.

Pickleball for All
The Walnut Creek Pickleball Club was created to share this great sport with people of all ages and skill levels. Join us for round robins and barbecues, or just come out and play at our courts at Rudgear Park in Walnut Creek. We hope to see you on the courts!
WC Pickleball Club and the City of Walnut Creek
Our club has been steadily growing with a membership of over 700 members in 2022. In 2015, in partnership with the City of Walnut Creek our club raised $10,000 to put in four dedicated pickleball courts. In September 2018, we were able to raise $18,000 and added four more dedicated courts. Since 2016 our club has worked with the City of Walnut Creek by participating in Community Service Day where picnic tables have been added, new tan bark laid down and debris cleaned away from the courts and fences. In 2020 and the years following when Community Service Day was not possible due to Covid 19 our club also participated in the Community Food Drive which received 39,000 pounds of food donations for the Contra Costa Food Bank. Our club is proud to contribute to the beautification of the pickleball courts at Rudgear Park. We were very excited for Community Service Day to return in 2022 and had the opportunity to beautify our courts once again.
