Broadway Children's School of Oakland is a diverse, play based community preschool located in the Adams Point neighborhood in Oakland, CA. We began in 1952 on Broadway in downtown Oakland. In 1984, our school moved to the little yellow house on Adams Street. For nearly 70 years, families have joined the Broadway community through the PACT (Parents And Children Together) program and the nursery school programs. At Broadway Children's School, our programs reflect the belief that every child is unique and special, and we nurture and encourage that sense of individuality so that each child will develop within his or her own framework. Cellar 13 Winery

Cellar 13 Winery focuses on making high quality, award winning wines using fruit from only the best Vineyards. Darin Winton, the Winemaker, is one of the few Native American Winemakers in the United States. To honor his Cherokee Heritage, Cellar 13 Winery has proudly used the Cherokee language for their 2 Bordeaux style blends - the Right Bank Bordeaux style blend is named “Aliheliga” (“Grateful” in Cherokee) and the Left Bank Bordeaux style blend is named “Tsogadu" (13 in Cherokee). Art work featured on the back of these two labels are original works from Darin’s Uncle, Cherokee Artist, John Balloue. Having had a successful career in Water Services, Darin retired in 2017 and was immediately hired as the Assistant Wine Maker at 3 Steves Winery in Livermore, CA. Given the chance to learn about wine making from start to finish at 3 Steves, Darin was later afforded the opportunity to make wine under his own label. While Darin does the Winemaking, Gail Henderson runs the operations and marketing side of Cellar 13 Winery. Together, they have created a Winery that embodies the best of their passions and talents. Esin Restaurant & Bar

Esin and Curtis deCarion are a culinary match made in heaven. Well, make that Johnson & Wales University in Charleston which seemed like paradise to them. As their friendship bloomed at culinary school, they discovered a mutual passion for reading cookbooks, crafting recipes, and talking incessantly about food. Married with two sons, Esin and Curtis have served up American food with Mediterranean flare since 1998. Before they opened Esin Restaurant in Danville's Rose Garden center in 2008, they ran the popular Café Esin a few miles away in San Ramon. Curious, adventurous, and caring, the deCarions meticulously oversee each meal for their guests. They are fussy about everything at the restaurant from the pristine dining room to the freshness of each ingredient. The couple also takes extra care to mentor and train their staff. Curtis and Esin attract food-loving servers who instinctively understand guests' needs. They nurture a spirit of teamwork and independent thinking.
