Wood Family Vineyards

Sparks flew in Yosemite during the spring of 1984. Michael’s eyes captured Rhonda’s across a crowded room at the Lodge. Over glasses of wine, conversations were shared, addresses exchanged, and a relationship ensued. Their first home in Fremont overlooked Weibel Vineyards where they dreamed of one day owning their own vineyard. At their second home, also in Fremont, they planted 18 vines. Before these vines reached maturity, they discovered Crane Ridge Vineyards in Livermore Valley. They purchased property with 8037 vines and built their dream home. Wood Family Vineyards winery shortly followed. Rhonda took a leave from her career as an airline pilot to handle the winemaking. Michael, a CFO, helps out where he can and enjoys the fruit of their labor, especially the award winning Chardonnay, his favorite. The winery operations have been moved to their current location and the tasting room opened in June 2017. Their oldest son, Harrison, has taken on the role of Executive VP. Dr. David Nisenboym graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior and a minor in Russian language. He then attained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from San Francisco’s University of the Pacific Dental School in 2013. After completing dental school, he completed a dental residency with the Pascua Yaqui tribe of Arizona. While serving the dental needs of the tribe, he gained valuable clinical experience in many procedures including implant placement, IV conscious sedation, root canals, crowns, fillings, and dentures. Following his residency, Dr. Nisenboym returned to his alma mater for two years as a pre-clinical instructor. The idea of INC 82 came to us one day while trying to figure out where to go to eat in our local area. Realizing that the choices in Dublin are pretty scarce when it came to non-chain restaurants, we decided to create our own, because that's what all people do, right?
