Dayspring Preschool application form and tuition information are available on our website, www.dayspringpreschool.org. ENROLLMENT is available, and will continue throughout the year with space availability. Dayspring Prechool enrolls children of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the programs, and activities made available at the preschool. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin regarding admissions, scholarship programs, or any other school-administered program. Dayspring Preschool opened in August 2010 and offers a variety of full-time and part-time programs for children ages 2.9-5 years. Dayspring Preschool hours of operation are 7am to 5:00pm. We are conveniently located just off I-680 at the Sycamore Valley exit in Danville. Our facility includes bright spacious classrooms, outdoor learning spaces, a beautiful playground, as well as a large indoor play area. Dayspring Preschool is affiliated with Danville Congregational Church, a United Church of Christ in Danville, California. Dayspring Preschool offers high quality preschool program that are fun, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate. Our program supports the young child’s critical thinking skills, integrates the inquiry learning process through hands on learning, and fosters positive character development. Sparks flew in Yosemite during the spring of 1984. Michael’s eyes captured Rhonda’s across a crowded room at the Lodge. Over glasses of wine, conversations were shared, addresses exchanged, and a relationship ensued. Their first home in Fremont overlooked Weibel Vineyards where they dreamed of one day owning their own vineyard. At their second home, also in Fremont, they planted 18 vines. Before these vines reached maturity, they discovered Crane Ridge Vineyards in Livermore Valley. They purchased property with 8037 vines and built their dream home. Wood Family Vineyards winery shortly followed. Rhonda took a leave from her career as an airline pilot to handle the winemaking. Michael, a CFO, helps out where he can and enjoys the fruit of their labor, especially the award winning Chardonnay, his favorite. The winery operations have been moved to their current location and the tasting room opened in June 2017. Their oldest son, Harrison, has taken on the role of Executive VP. They have a strong commitment to each other and to the celebration of life, family and friends. This same commitment carries over into making luscious handcrafted wines. Home Consignment Center remains a two family owned and run business. In the spring of 1994 Christine and Johnny Crowell were considering opening a furniture store patterned on Johnny’s successful antique auto consignment business. Jamece and John Fondnazio joined them forming a partnership that has lasted for twenty plus years. The partners had a business plan that promoted high quality furniture and accessories priced to sell from the outset. The partners rejected the traditional consignment approach of initial overpricing coupled with automatic markdowns. Home Consignment Center was built on the concept of great stuff at great prices, and it’s a fun place to shop. That first year was exciting, if exhausting. The partners worked every day and without employees. This allowed them to learn every aspect of the business, first hand. When the first employees were hired HCC initiated its policy of no commission salespeople. HCC shares it’s profits with its employees, monthly, through a store bonus system that recognizes that there are many components to success. HCC has been lucky in having great employees many of who treat the stores as if they were their own business. Based on the great support from the community surrounding the first store in Danville, HCC has continued to grow, adding 14 additional locations in California and Texas. In 1995 HCC began adding jewelry stores to its locations and they are now recognized as a great place to consign or buy fine jewelry, too. As Home Consignment Center’s sales have grown to over fifty million dollars a year, they have attracted the attention of the furniture industry.
