With more camp options than ever before, Stratford offers the perfect summer camp experience for your child, complete with all the fun, enriching activities they love, and the important safety measures you expect.
From our ever popular Academic and Specialty Camps, to our ALL NEW Day Camps, children will have a wide range of options to explore interests, discover a world of wonder, make new friends, and expand their horizons. It all starts with our outstanding Summer Team, whose talent, creativity and leadership set the tone for an unforgettable experience.
Stratford’s Academic Camps are the perfect way to enhance your child's love of learning while focusing on a specific subject. From math and robotics to literature and creative writing, we have something for every student. Working independently and in small groups, students will apply real-life experiences to lessons learned in the classroom.
Add even more fun with Specialty Camps -- packed with hands-on experiences, Stratford’s Specialty Camps provide campers with a variety of activities including robotics, to explore while discovering new STEAM skills and talents!
All NEW Day Camps. Each week, students in kindergarten through 5th grade will jump into action as they explore science and nature, discover creative and performing arts, participate in sports and games, and so much more. Activity blocks give campers a variety of experiences throughout each camp day.

2 year olds: 9-12 Tuesdays & Thursdays
3 year olds: 8:45-12:15 T/TH or MWF
4 year olds: 8:45-12:15 MWF or M-TH
Lunch Bunch: 12:15- 1:00
Fees and Tuition
Registration Fee: $80
Commitment Fee: $200-applies to last month's tuition.
Materials Fee: $75
Full Co-op:
2-days $300/month
3-days $380/month
4-days $500/month
Partial Co-op parents pay an additional $30/month
Non Co-op parents pay an additional $60/month
Enrollment Information
Registration procedure:
1. Call or email to schedule an appointment to tour or stop by and visit.
2. Find out about availability in your child's age group.
3. Visit the classroom(if you haven't already done so).
4. Pick up a packet of forms from the office or download from our website.
5. Determine your co-op level and start date with the director.
6. Return forms and tuition and fees to Sonshine Office.
7. Start School!
Registration for upcoming school year 2020-2021 is in January.
Special Programs
Children attend a brief chapel time twice a month.
There is an annual field trip to the Pumpkin Patch in October.

Sonshine Preschool is a part-time, parent cooperative that operates as an outreach of Trinity Lutheran Church. We offer a developmentally-appropriate, enriching preschool environment where children grow and learn socially, emotionally, physically, academically, and spiritually.

Viva el Español is a non-profit Spanish Language Center that offers engaging, interactive Spanish programs for young amigos ages toddler through grade 8. Our programs offer full-immersion Spanish instruction by trained teachers, and have multiple proficiency levels. Classes include music & movement, storytelling, arts & crafts, imaginative play and more! Viva el Español has locations in Lafayette, Pleasanton and Mill Valley, and also teaches at numerous pre-schools and elementary schools throughout the Bay Area. Viva el Español also offers Summer Camps, Teen Internships, Adult Classes and private instruction.

Our work extends well beyond the Zoo. With over 25 wildlife conservation partners globally, we take pride in providing funds to support their programs and efforts to save wildlife. In the past five years alone, this includes 17 mountain lions, 36 California condors, 8 bears, and over 600 yellow-legged frogs.
