Ruggie and Carole Van Muijen are residents of Danville, and Ruggie grew up in the Bay Area. He has been in the restaurant industry for 44 years, 35 of those with his own business in the local area, and Carole has taught cooking at Monte Vista High School for the past decade .
The Growler has evolved over the years from starting out as a craft beer focused bar, to becoming a neighborhood restaurant & pub with a cozy, familiar feel. Located just off the Iron Horse Trail, we are a favorite with cyclists, walkers, families and dog owners looking for a place to sit down and enjoy a cold beer, cocktail, and some delicious food from our diverse menu.

There is no fee for applications or waiting lists. There is a one-time enrollment fee of $90 charged to first-time registrants. Please contact the school for tuition and after school extended care rates.

Noah’s Ark is a faith-based developmental preschool located in a unique pastoral setting. Our learning environment provides all children with the opportunity to grow socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually and spiritually, in a caring and nurturing community. Noah’s Ark honors the developmental strengths, needs and challenges of each child: recognizing individual differences in interests and abilities.
Our hands-on intentional curriculum consists of literacy, math, science, gardening, nature exploration, cooking, perceptual motor, drama and music. The children are provided with opportunities to explore and interact in individual, small and large group settings.
Our curriculum addresses the developmental needs of the "whole" child – knowing that the "work" of childhood is "play" – while preparing them for today’s academic kindergarten experience.

LVCC enjoys a long legacy of business leadership in the local community. The Livermore Chamber of Commerce filed its articles of incorporation with the office of the California Secretary of State in 1937. But evidence shows that this chamber was active as early as 1927. (See scanned brochure). Since then the Chamber has been operated by professional staff with oversight and guidance provided by an elected board of directors. In 2011, the Livermore Chamber of Commerce board of directors approved changing the name of the organization to the Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce, reflecting the reach of the organization beyond city limits.

Alfredo Lunardi was born in Lucca, Italy. In 1950, at the age of 20, he left his native Italy to settle in San Francisco. By 1953, Alfredo acquired a local San Francisco market called "Mother's Market," located at 23rd and Irving Street. From that simple beginning, Alfredo, with help of his sons Ralph and Paul, eventually opened 8 locations in the Bay area.
